Dr. Frank Böttcher is a specialist pharmacist in Pharmaceutical Analytics and has been working in the pharmaceutical industry since 1994. He initially worked in regulatory affairs and later as Head of Quality Control and Head of Inspection at various companies before joining Labor L+S AG in 2003. There, he was responsible for the "Testing of Sterile Products" and "Chemical-Physical Analytics" departments, among other things, before being appointed to the company's board of directors in 2005. Additionally, he served as a Qualified Person, a referee for counter-samples under § 65.4 AMG, and Technical Director according to DIN EN ISO 17025. Since January 2021, he has been Managing Director and Qualified Person at HWI pharma services GmbH. He is also a member of the author team of the GMP Publishing House, the Scientific Committee of the Research Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers e.V. (FAH), and the German Pharmacopoeia Commission. As a member of the APV, he is active in the Analytical and Quality Assurance working group. His main focuses are quality assurance, manufacturing, and testing of sterile medicinal products.
