In collaboration with the DPhG (German Pharmaceutical Society) and the German section of the Controlled Release Society (since 2001), various forums have been held since 1999 on topics including:
- Computer-based training
- Job fields of industrial pharmacists
- Pharmaceutical study programs and postgraduate courses
- Pharmaceutical biotechnology
- Bachelor/Master programs
- Modularization of education in pharmaceutical technology
APV Roadshows
APV Roadshows are lecture events where pharmaceutical students are given insights into career perspectives and opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry by industrial pharmacists. Roadshows can be conducted at any university institute in Germany. The APV collaborates with the local university institute as the organizer. So far, five roadshows have been successfully conducted at the universities of Halle, Braunschweig, Berlin, Frankfurt, and Munich.
Industry Introductory Courses for PhD Students
Congress
The University Department at APV organizes an international congress every two years in collaboration with other national societies (APGI, ADRITELF, GSIA, HPS, PPS, EAPB) (International Meeting on Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology).
