Pharmaceutical Process Engineering
The technical department is the point of contact for all technical aspects of the industrial production of pharmaceuticals.
The group primarily deals with various process technologies, as well as related aspects such as technical building equipment, process media, and hygiene zone concepts. In addition to the planning, operation, and qualification of such production facilities, maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, even considering increasing cost factors, is also a focus of the technical group's work.

- Innovative process technologies for all dosage forms
- Process optimization
- Automation concepts
- Qualification of production facilities
- GMP-compliant maintenance
- Use of IT systems for process and technical building equipment control and monitoring
- Definition of the engineer/technician's role within the GMP framework
Current implementation:
- Evaluation, implementation, and presentation of new technologies
- Support in the conception of new facilities
- Training and further education of engineers and technicians
- Close collaboration with production- and process-oriented specialist groups
