Dr. Martin Wesch
Dr. Martin Wesch, a lawyer, studied law, philosophy, modern history, and economics at the University of Tübingen. After completing his doctorate on "New Forms of Industrial Action," he underwent legal training, including placements at the Regional Council in Dresden and international assignments at law firms in the United States (Rochester/New York) and Australia (Sydney). He was admitted as a lawyer at the Regional Court in 1993 and at the Higher Regional Court in Stuttgart in 1998. He worked at two larger supra-regional law firms in Stuttgart. From 1994 to 2011, he served as the managing director of the dissolved Association for Quality Assurance in Pharmaceutical Packaging. In 1997, he specialized as a certified specialist lawyer in labor law. In 2001, he co-founded the law firm WESCH & BUCHENROTH in Stuttgart, specializing in business law, with other lawyers. Since 2002, he has been a lecturer in labor law at the University of Stuttgart. In 2005, he became a certified specialist lawyer in medical law. From 2002 to 2012, he chaired the Packaging Specialist Group of the APV, which was temporarily expanded to include the Packaging & Medical Devices Specialist Group. He serves as an advisor to the specialist journals "pharmind" and "APVnews" and is the author of numerous publications in books and specialist journals.
