Dr. Elke Sternberger-Rützel
Dr. Elke Sternberger-Rützel studied pharmacy until 1998 at the Free University of Berlin and Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. She then pursued her PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology at Heidelberg University starting in 1998. Additionally, she is a specialist pharmacist in Pharmaceutical Technology. After completing her doctorate, she worked in pharmaceutical development at Grünenthal GmbH (2002-2006) as a laboratory manager for packaging development, stability studies, and packaging of clinical trial samples. Later, she joined the R&D department of Catalent Pharma Solutions (Schorndorf, Germany) (2006-2009) as a packaging developer focusing on microdosing, interim department head, and project manager. Subsequently, she worked as a Pharma Trend Scout and Innovation Manager at Robert Bosch GmbH Packaging Pharma (2009-2012). Since 2013, she has been working at Harro Höfliger GmbH as Head of Test Facilities within Pharma Services.
