Dr. Katharina Paulsen
Katharina Paulsen is a registered pharmacist since 2008. After her diploma thesis about semisolids at Bayer-Schering in Berlin, she went to the University of Dunedin (New Zealand) as a post graduated researcher and worked in the Group of Prof. Thomas Rades. Katharina received her PhD about “Characterizing a new Carrier for hot melt extrusion” from the University of Kiel (Northern Germany). Thereafter, she spends almost 4 years with Thermo Fisher Scientific as Pharma Application Specialist. In 2015 she joint Abbvie as a Senior Scientist, working with Amorphous Solid Dispersions. Since 2017, she is leading a global team for Scale-up & TechTranfer and support the filling submission.
